From the exact moment a woman discovers she is going to be a mother, it is a real uproar of feelings! But, without a doubt,one of the most exciting momentsis when we started putting together the baby’s layette. It’s like bringing that big dream to life!

It’s impossible to resist the tiny clothes and accessories that will soon be on your little one’s body. It’s an incredible phase, however, it can be a puzzle for first-time moms! There’s so much that we don’t even know where to start.

And that’s when the question arises: what to choose for the baby’s layette? But don’t worry, I’ve already been there and put together a guide to help you! It’s almost like a compass on this wonderful journey. With these tips, you will no longer be lost among so many choices available. Baby Room

Well, firstly we have the baby’s room, which must be a comfortable environment for the little one and at the same time must have everything you will need in your routine care for him. In this environment the list of necessary items may be a little longer. Check out what you can’t miss below:

• 01 crib (preferably with rounded corners)
• 01 mattress
• 02 anti-suffocating pillows
• 01 safe and breathable screen at the same time to place around the crib;
• 03 sets of sheets with elastic for crib and pillowcases

Clothes and accessories

Now we come to one of the hardest parts to select! When we enter any baby store we want to take all the clothes that appear in front of us! However, you cannot forget that babies grow very quickly, so there is no point in buying too many things of the same size.

Therefore, when purchasing, it is advisable to make a division by models and sizes, and even take into account which season the baby will be born. And so you don’t get lost right now, I’ve prepared a complete list of the basics your baby will need:

Advice for putting together a baby’s layette

When putting together your baby’s layette, you don’t need to limit yourself to this list, but you can use it as a guide. Therefore, you can add or remove what you find unnecessary. Also, be sure to check out some extra tips I’ve put together for you:

1. Remember that the Season is essential for choosing the right clothes for your baby and avoiding discomfort.
2. The most recommended is assemble the layette gradually, starting with the bedroom, accessories and essential items, and only then purchase the clothes.
3. It is recommended to have at least 6 pieces of the main clothing models, as babies grow quickly.
4. It is important to choose light and comfortable clothes for your baby, avoiding excess adornments that could cause discomfort or pose risks.
